Ella Noel (she/they) lives to help audiences connect deeply with characters and to support performers in discovering more about themselves. Through a grounded presence, attentive listening, and a thoughtful approach to text, Ella invites people of all backgrounds to see themselves reflected in the stories she brings to life.
Originally from Ashland, Oregon, Ella developed an early love for theatre—especially Shakespeare adaptations that shed light on contemporary issues. She recently graduated from Willamette University with degrees in Theatre and Women’s & Gender Studies, where she began merging her passion for performance with a drive to challenge and expand societal ideas about gender. Ella is dedicated to showing young people that they can become anything—and anyone—they want to be, both onstage and off.
In addition to her artistic work, Ella is a passionate advocate for accessibility and disability rights. She believes that inclusive, equitable spaces are essential to both meaningful storytelling and ethical collaboration, and works to ensure that all bodies and experiences are welcomed and supported in the creative process.
She seeks out creative collaborations with diverse, passionate, and fiercely supportive teams. Ella believes that the most powerful theatre—and the most transformative education—emerges from generous, thoughtful collaboration. She strives to cultivate spaces where artists advocate for one another and themselves, making room for mutual transformation, curiosity, and understanding.
